PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Under the direction of the Terminal Operations Manager, perform repairs, and preventative maintenance on heavy machinery, trucks, material handling equipment, and buildings according to all applicable standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Inspects and performs general preventative maintenance activities, repairs and cleaning of equipment. All equipment should be ready for use and in good condition at all times.
Maintains operating equipment, facility grounds, and maintenance buildings to a high standard that portrays a positive image of the facility to all areas.
Safely operate various types of equipment related to the unloading, loading, and transfer of fertilizer including conveying equipment, barge unloader, and various support equipment.
Accurately document information generated in support of operations to include but not limited to:
operations, maintenance inspection, and safety related reports.
Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements and/or replacements to increase efficiencies, capabilities and/or safety.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Maintain general appearance of facility including:
mowing grass, trimming, and cleanup of debris.
Ensure customers are served professionally by providing timely, responsive, and adaptable customer service.
Comply with all training, environmental, health, and safety programs.
Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Normally requires a high school diploma, or the equivalent thereof, and 3 years of mechanical/maintenance experience.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
Frequently exposed to the following conditions:
Extreme weather (hot, cold, wet, etc.) noisy conditions, dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures.
Must be able to lift 71-100 lbs.
Will be required to work extended hours.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
